- In your notebook in Notability tap the down-facing arrow next to your recording.
- Start playing the recording to fine-tune while listening to it.
- Tap on the settings icon at the end of the recording timeline.
- Tap on Equalizer.
You will get options to adjust the frequencies of your recording. These amplify the audio voice recording while reducing room noise. The Voice Boost feature dramatically improves your audio playback. It reduces the tapping sound of the Apple Pencil hitting your iPad screen when you move it to the extreme right side. It removes virtually all the tapping!
You can also improve your recordings by using muffling Apple Pencil tips. Some say they work. We have tried and tested EarPods and AirPods. Connect them to your device and move them away from your screen or closer to the audio source. I hang EarPods over my neck or wear AirPods when recording audio.
